We were so lucky to have a tiny group with the lovely guides all to ourselves. While zipping along the line my feelings flicked between wanting to soak in the excitement and beauty of the experience to wanting the ride to be over because it was scary. I've been on the chairlift before, but forgot how long and peaceful it was. Then you get the great views of Christchurch and Lyttelton Harbour. Had a treat in the cafe afterwards.
First of all, the price we paid was more than reasonable. Ellie the driver was great, interesting commentary. Nice stop offs on the way. Favourite stop was Monkey Creek to fill water bottle. The boat trip on the sound is in a place like you've never seen before. The fish and chips and beer was nice and service great. We were lucky to see dolphins. If you suffer from travel sickness prepare in some way, the combo of boat back to coach didn't work for me (no one else seemed to suffer). It's a shame it takes so long to get there, but it's all worth it.
Really enjoyed pizza at Winnies, great location and service. You can choose when to go to ice bar. At 2pm opening we were only ones, something to tick off Queenstown experience.
We switched to aqua bike at the last minute, kind of staff to let us do this. It gave us more of a workout than expected. Fantastic way to start our first morning in Queenstown. Great views out on the water.
It is very rare for us to get a doggy bag because there is usually no food left. We ordered an extra bowl of rice because there was so much curry to soak up. Leftovers gave us a little lunch for next day. The location is excellent and staff professional and friendly.
The price of the gondola doesn't seem to change, it seems to sit on $39. With this deal it made the gondola trip worth it because it's a must do Queenstown activity. It's a very luxurious experience, staff are attentive. The selection of food is great. My favourite part is choosing a selection of deserts to try. It also includes a free coffee.
A great way to see Abel Tasman Park and surrounds. Murray, our driver/guide, was very helpful and informative. The short walk was very good for people like myself who don't do long tramps. The forest was invigorating and there was a waterfall and beautiful beach at the end. There was plenty of time to enjoy Barks Bay before walking to the next bay for pickup.

I've been wanting to try the duck's fat potatoes for a while. They were a treat. Staff are very efficient and the place has a cosy atmosphere.
I've visited O'Hagen's a few times now, when we come to Auckland. It's a great location, has a nice, comfortable atmosphere and plays sports on the TV. The food came out of the kitchen very quickly. It's tasty comfort / treat food.
