Come on board and experience the beauty of a scenic sailing tour to the Māori Rock Carvings, one of the most extraordinary contemporary carvings in the world. Only view-able from the water, the likeness of Ngātoroirangi towers 14-meters above Lake Taupō, surrounded by over 40 smaller carvings.
Escape from hectic life for a while and enjoy the breathtaking views of the lake’s remarkable coastline as you discover the bays and hidden bush. Listen to our experienced skippers and learn about Taupo's history and culture. Give the crew a hand hoisting the sails and take a turn on the wheel or just snuggle under some blankets and enjoy the wide selection of drinks.
Kindred Spirit sails under full sails as much as possible or gently meanders, when it is truly calm, by a quite inboard diesel engine.
Take a dip and swim in the crystal-clear waters of the largest freshwater lake in Australasia. We offer the longest swim stop out of any company on the lake (weather dependent)!
There is a bathroom and changing room facilities on board.

Awesome experience
Really great skipper, very friendly and experienced, it was a bit choppy the day we went out but it was still an amazing thing to see along with the splendid sailing experience.

Great adventure
Nick and Steff were an amazing crew and we loved booking this last minute trip for our honeymoon. Never seen the maori carvings and on catamaran was the perfect adventure. Thanks team and great price book me.

It was noice and relaxing ,you get offered a drink with the nice views around you .worth your time if you looking for a 2 hours of sun and relaxing ,worth your time

A fantastic trip on the water
Dave and Danny who took us out on the catamaran were fantastic. They were super helpful with my friend who was recovering from a broken hip and very informative about the lake and carvings. I would definitely recommend this trip to everyone.

Une superbe expérience
Nous avons réservé le créneau de 9h30, et nous n’avons pas été déçue. L’expérience de naviguer sur un catamaran sur le lake Taupo est géniale ! En plus, Dany et David sont plus que sympathiques et vous ferons passer un moment inoubliable!
