Blast through narrow canyons, and speed over the crystal clear waters of the upper Waikato River. Experience the thrill and manoeuvrability of this impressive watercraft as your jet boat negotiates tight spins and takes on the Nga Awa Purua Rapids with full V8 power and aggression; surfing the pressure waves and ripping up and down the white water.
The scenery on the river is spectacular and there is ample time to enjoy your amazing surrounds while learning about the wildlife and history of the area.
Rapids Jet is set in the beautiful Aratiatia Scenic Reserve just 15 minutes drive north of Taupo and 50 minutes south of Rotorua and is guaranteed to get the blood pumping.

Thrills and skills in paradise
So happy I decided to choose RapidJet for my jetboat experience. Easy to find, stunning location, skilled jet pilot and 35mins of pure fun on the stunningly beautiful Waikato River. I’ll be back for more!

Absolutely fantastic
This was a fabulous experience with an experienced, humorous and informative driver. Loved the stories he had to tell and the movie sets that were shot there. So much fun, lots of turns, going down rapids which was WOW. Thoroughly recommend this experience. You will not be disappointed.
